081 started as a lockdown pop-up at Peckham Levels in 2021 and quickly became an award-winning hotspot on Peckham Rye.
Our founder, Naples-born pizzaiolo Andrea Asciuti, brings the soul of his hometown to London with Neapolitan pizzas made with naturally fermented dough, seasonal ingredients and bold toppings.
Other than great pizza, we’re about culture, community, music and doing things our way. Next stop? Shoreditch. Oh, and we’ve thrown in a DJ booth, because good pizza deserves good beats.



Pizza is a serious thing
We take pride in cooking the perfect Neapolitan pizza every time, with passion behind every inch of dough. But what we enjoy most is coming up with unconventional and playful creations that you won’t find just anywhere.
On top of our pizzas (not literally), we do some pretty good Napoli-inspired tapas and delicious desserts.
For us, pizza isn’t just food, it’s a way of life.


Melting Minds
Crucially, all our pizzas are made with 72-hour fermented dough and San Marzano DOP tomato sauce. We use the Neapolitan ‘slap’ technique and cook our pizza at 450° for 90 seconds, for a perfectly fluffy and slightly chewy crust.
For us, pizza is a ‘spiritual mindset’.
